At Hälsinglands District Court, approximately 25 people currently work, consisting of judges, law clerks, court administrators, and administrative staff. The court is led by the chief judge. Under the chief judge, there is a judicial unit and an administrative unit. The court resolves cases and matters from the municipalities in Hälsingland.

Job Responsibilities

As a legal advisor, you will perform all tasks at the court that a law clerk carries out. You will prepare cases, conduct legal research, write proposals for decisions, and act as a minute-taker during hearings and meetings. Additionally, you will independently prepare and handle dispositive civil cases and lead oral preparations in such cases. You will also perform certain administrative tasks. The legal advisor works closely with the judges of the department, has independent legal work, and operates based on the needs of the organization.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

Applicants should be qualified as a law clerk and possess strong legal knowledge.

As a person, you are flexible, service-oriented, and take initiative. You work results-oriented and are meticulous, with a good ability to collaborate. Furthermore, you enjoy working independently as well as in a team. You are responsible and thrive in a changing work environment. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. To be considered for employment, you must meet high standards regarding judgment, security awareness, and suitability. This means you uphold democratic values and the state values that govern the operations of Swedish Courts. We naturally require compliance with applicable laws. We place great importance on personal attributes. The court strives for diversity in terms of age, gender, and cultural background.
